Chris Blankenship Online Donations

On August 12th, 2014, motocross/track builder and racer Chris Blankenship passed away from injuries he suffered in a motocross crash during Washington’s Town and Country Fair in Washington, Missouri. He was only 38 years old.

Chris began racing at age 12.  His weekends for the next several years were spent racing.  He would attend Loretta Lynn's, travel the Arenacross circuit, and eventually get his pro license.  When he wasn't racing he worked with his family's excavating company operating heavy equipment.  He turned his two loves of racing and working with dirt into his dream job as an operator for Dirtwurx U.S.A, traveling the country building the supercross tracks.

Chris was a person who got along with everyone and truly became friends with everyone he ever met.  His impression on others was apparent at his memorial service that had to be held in the local high school gym, and where 200 riders escorted him to his burial in a 9 mile long procession.  His smile was contagious.  He was always positive and caring and lived life to the fullest.  Nobody had a passion like him and he showed it in everything he did.

Chris leaves behind his wife of 13 years, Crystal, a son, Macen, 11, and a daughter, Kate, 8.  You can help by making an on-line donation below or by mail at Road 2 Recovery, 1042 N El Camino Real, Suite B-350.
